 
One of Cebu’s truly amazing islands with picture perfect beaches is Bantayan. Located at the top of Cebu, a few hours trip from Cebu City is this incredible island. Bantayan’s best beaches are located around the South Eastern side of the island.One of it's beautiful beach there is the Maia's beach resort.
FIP's TIP for Bantayan Island: After you arrive at the port, follow the road to the main road and go left. Less than a kilometer away is a store called Gecko's which rents scooters and motorbikes for P50/hr or P350/day.
Once you have your own transportation, you have the freedom to explore the island without getting hassled by the local tricycle or habal-habal drivers. Then once you've found a place to stay, the salesman should calm down and let you enjoy your trip
